Airfix has been a long standing name in the plastic model manufacturers world, it actually all began with them. Only reissues have been appearing the last couple of years, many of them more than 30 years old and I wouldn't recommend these kits except to the beginners and even then I have my doubts.  Lately however they released three new kits and they are good! There is still some debate about their exact scale (1/76, 1/72 or in between), but that does not mean that you shouldn't buy them, they are definitely value for money!
